It is been in a mist of unknown for over than one month…For my situation, if I cannot be employed by the end of November, I will have to leave the States and go back to China. Since I finished my last job in September, I would prayed to God everyday that if it is his will to let me stay in the States, then provide me with a new part-time job… The reason why I am here in Columbus, it is because I want to pursue a lot of growing in my faith, I want to glorify him the best way I can, even it costs a lot…
In the two months of unemployment, my car got some issues need to be fixed, I got my first speeding ticket that requires me go to court, I didn’t get any response from the part-time job I applied, at one point, I cannot even support myself financially. But God is gracious, he is always good, he is faithful, he is in control of everything, he is all I need.
During these two months, God showed me how he is working in my parents’ heart, they put down their expectation of me earning a great amount of money in industry field, saying that they were willing to support what I am doing now even they don’ t really understand. whenever I need money, they told me I can use their credit card…I don’t know why I didn’t feel anxious finding a job. Even when bad things happened, I still have peace in my heart, and finally, the week before Thanksgiving, God answered my prayer—He gave me a job!
I am so thankful for all the friends at IFI, they had been praying and helping for my job hunting so hard, that gave me so much hope and joy; I am so thankful for my parents that they are being so soft when I didn’t meet their expectations; I am so thankful for I am still able to do ministry in the States….and I know that, If I don’t have Jesus in my heart, all of these would not happen.
He knows exactly what I need and gives the best to me. He created me to be on this earth for a great mission. Whenever I think of my relationship with him, I am filled with power. Thank you Jesus, for transforming my life, for saving me!
