Listening to the word of God will receive true happiness.
This month I prayed to God that clear the path of the future for me and let me see the path clearly. I am perplexed about my future. I don’t know where I will go. It seems that I am lack of confidence in God’s planning specifically for me. However, I thank God who leads me step by step to his works. For I cannot approach to students by my own easily, he guided me through many incidents and made things happened. I can have a relationship with students by simply inviting them to different events. None of these are achieved by myself but God.
I want to share a miracle to you which God spoke to me. My spouse and I had an argument before because she was sick and didn’t have enough food to eat for her lunch that day. I went to take a shower and claimed down myself In case of trouble. Then, I asked God how I could love her more when I was in bad mood. God let me think about my responses that how I would reply to Lita. There were several scenarios were presented in my mind. None of my answers are satisfying and are improving our relationship. I then started thinking about Jesus. If I were Jesus, how I would reply to her with gentle and humble. God let me think about Jesus who split five loaves and two fishes to 3000 people. I wondered that how could Jesus know his father would answer his praying every time. There was a word came to me. Every time Jesus prayed because he wants to glorify his father, not himself. In addition, I asked God how I can glorify you in this situation. God wants us to love each other so he can be glorified. I obeyed God’s word and started with thanksgiving to my spouse. Before that, I did what she told me to do which was to clean her slippers for her. Usually, I won’t listen to her when she was in a bad attitude but I want to mend our relationship. Thus, I cleaned her slipper with sincerity and joyfulness because of God. This is my first time I understood God’s command and obeyed with happiness.
